Why You Should Start Building Your List NOW!!

Hi Guys, I can't stress enough how important it is that you start building a list. How often have you heard that the LIST is the MONEY. Its absolutely TRUE. Most affiliates making the huge bucks, hundreds of thousands or millions in the industry are those that have a very huge list at their disposal.

Those that don't have a huge list in most cases have to joint venture with those who do to make a decent income. Many internet gurus have hundreds of thousands on their list and they can make thousands at the click of a button. And even those who have huge lists continue to build their list on a daily basis.

Remember that it might take a few visits to your site before persons decide to buy your product or a product you are promoting. Hence you should have a way of contacting visitors even after they click away from your site and that’s why you need to start building a list.

To start building your list you need to have something of value to give away to your visitors such as a free ebook, audio, some tips, a video, newsletters etc.Visitors will be more inclined to give you their contact info if they are getting something of value in return. When you have a list you can build a relationship with that list and sell to that list over and over again. Most persons who are successful in this industry realized the importance of a list very early and now have a huge list at their disposal. AFFILIATES START NOW.

Why 95% of affiliates fail?

An affiliate is someone who promotes a product or service on behalf of a merchant and earns a commission for each sale or referral made. Although Affiliate marketing proves itself to be one of the most popular, easiest and successful ways of making money online, the failure rate is still a staggering 95%. This is partly due to some commonly made mistakes that the majority of affiliates continue to make.

Mistakes such as getting drawn into get rich quick opportunities, not having a solid foundation, not building a list, jumping from program to program, not paying attention to stats, not treating their online business like a real business and not building a relationship with visitors to their sites are just a few. Wouldn’t it be great if more persons getting into the affiliate marketing industry were made more aware of the mistakes causing the majority of them to fail? What many affiliates fail to realize is that these mistakes if overlooked will surely lead to the failure of their affiliate business.

If you don’t know the mistakes you are making then you can’t correct them and the sad reality is that many affiliates don’t know what they are doing incorrectly. If you know the mistakes then you can avoid them. You can learn from the mistakes made by others. Super Affiliates avoid these mistakes and that’s why they are so successful.

The Affiliate Marketing industry is a billion dollar industry that continues to grow at rapid pace and there is no reason why only 10% of affiliates should earn all the money. Affiliates Add a little Adsense to your Blogs

Affiliates, it would make perfect sense to add Adsense to your blog or website. Below you will be introduced to what Google Adsense is and the benefits and growing popularity of this advertising program.
Google Adsense is an advertising service run by Google allowing webmasters and bloggers who sign up to the service to place ads on their sites or blogs giving them the opportunity to enroll and participate in revenue sharing.

Once signed up for Adsense, Google will administer ads on these websites which are usually relevant to the content on these sites and then give the webmasters, bloggers or website owners a share of the advertising revenue once individuals click on these ads.

Big bucks are being paid for online Advertising and what Google does is that they charge advertisers a fee for placing ads on their system. Google then distributes some of these ads on websites, search engines etc and every time these ads are clicked on, Google will charge the advertisers a fee. This is commonly referred to as PPC or Pay Per Click. Google will in turn pay a small portion of these earnings to you in the form of commissions if the ads clicked on were done through your website or blog.

More Bloggers and Webmasters are now using the popular Google Adsense to create an additional income and for many Advertising Revenue is their only income source online. Webmasters are increasingly investing significant amount of time and effort in trying to maximize their Adsense income. Earnings usually take some time before increasing but as soon as webmasters start improving the content on their sites or blogs and start increasing the traffic flow to their sites, the number of clicks on their website or blog will start increasing and so will their Advertising revenue and then the Google cheques will start rolling in.

Affiliate Marketing Tips for Broke Affiliates

Affiliate Marketing is today considered one of the best and most popular ways of making money online and one of the easiest businesses to set up. However proper research, hard work and persistence are required to be successful. If you are new to Affiliate Marketing or if you are Broke!!! Here are a few tips for increasing your chances of Affiliate Marketing Success

1. Do your proper research in identifying which products or services you are going to promote. Pick a market that suits you, products that you will be comfortable selling, products or services that you enjoy and are knowledgeable about. It is proven that if you have a passion for something then you will be more likely to put more effort and time into it.

2. Decide how you are going to promote these products and how you are going to drive traffic to your website, whether via article marketing, social networking, you tube broadcasting, blogging, email marketing, Adwords etc. A word of advice is to try and diversify your marketing methods as there are some persons who like watching videos and there will be some who prefer to read articles. Hence by diversifying your marketing methods you are allowing yourself to reach a wider audience.

3. Ensure that the company whose products or services you are promoting is trustworthy and will be around for a long time. This will be a major factor in the sustainability of your business. Imagine if you started promoting some products for a particular company and the company goes under. You invested a lot of time, you wrote articles, you paid for ads, you did extensive research and you created an excellent website with great content around this particular product and then all of a sudden the company is closed down. This would be a lot of wasted time and effort on your part.

4. Read the agreement carefully to be clear about issues such as payment frequency, minimum payout amount, payment currency, commission rates etc.

5. To avoid payment issues, try joining affiliate programs that are a part of bigger affiliate networks such as ClickBank or Commission Junction that hosts thousands of merchant affiliate programs and oversee commission payouts.
Good luck on your transition from New to Super!!

Different Levels of Affiliate Marketing

There are three levels of affiliate marketing: Single -Tier Two-Tier Multi-Tier These different tiers are based on the commission structure or how commissions in an affiliate marketing program are paid out to affiliates.

Single-Tier
In this level of affiliate marketing the affiliate is paid a commission based solely on his or her efforts. This means the affiliate is paid based on sales or leads generated as a result of his/her promotion via ads or links placed on websites etc. Pay Per Click and Pay Per Lead are examples of Single-Tier Affiliate Marketing. If John Rich has an ebook and decides to pay his affiliates 40% for each sale that is generated by them, then this is a perfect example of a Single-Tier affiliate program.

Two-Tier
In this level of affiliate marketing the affiliate is paid a commission based on his or her efforts as well as the efforts of other affilates who he/she refers to the affilate program. This means the affiliate is paid based on sales or leads generated by his/her affiliates and also sales and leads generated by his/her own promotions or ads.Hence the affiliate gets an opportunity to earn by referring others to the program and once they become affiliates then the affiliate who referred them also earns a commission from their sales. The more referrals or recruits an affiliate has signed up under them then the higher will be their commission earned. Lets take the example of the case above where John Rich has an ebook and is paying his affiliates 40% for each sale. Now lets say John Rich now wants to aggressively grow his business and decides to introduce a Two-Tier program. He decides to pay the same 40% to his affiliates however he also decides to pay them 10% on the sales generated by affiliates they refer. Hence this serves as motivation and is very benificial to the parties involved as John Rich will benefit from an increase in the number of affiliates selling his product and the affiliates who refer other affiliates will benefit from an increase in commissions.

Multi-Tier
This is very similiar to the Two-Tier affiliate program however payment is across multiple levels hence the affilate gets paid additional commission at more levels. Putting it another way you as an affiliate in a Multi level affiliate program would earn commissions from your affiliates referrals down to a certain level usually 3 to 5 levels deep. This is also commonly referred to as Multilevel Marketing or MLM. If John Rich decides to move from a Two-Tier to Multi-Tier affiliate marketing program then continuing from the above John Rich would continue to pay 40% on the 1st level (the initial affiliates), 10% on the 2nd level (other affiliates signing up under the initial affiliates) , 5% on the third level etc.

Different Types of Affiliate Marketing

Before starting on your journey it is very important that you know about the different types of Affiliate Marketing programs. This will help you in deciding which one will work best for you.

Pay Per Click is an affiliate marketing program where online merchants place their links or ads on affiliates website and each time these links are clicked the affiliates get paid a small commission. The affiliate will get paid for the click even if the visitor referred to the merchants website does not purchase anything, however as stated before the commissions or payout per click are usually low.

Pay Per Lead is an affiliate marketing program where affiliates try to send leads to the online merchants websites. The intention here is to lead visitors to these websites and try to get them to navigate through the pages hence becoming a potential customer and a good lead for the merchant. The affiliate will receive a commision for his or her efforts. Pay Per Sale is an affiliate marketing program where the affiliate earns a commission (usually between 20% to 70%) when a product or service being advertised by the affiliate on the internet is purchased. These fees or commissions are generally higher than rates under the Pay Per Click programs.

In some cases you will hear mention of Pay Per Performance or PPP. This is simply an affiliate program where the affiliate gets paid only if a visitor referred by the affiliate turns into a lead or makes a purchase. Hence Pay Per Sale and Pay Per Lead are categories of Pay Per Performance.
