Affiliate Marketing Tips for Broke Affiliates

Affiliate Marketing is today considered one of the best and most popular ways of making money online and one of the easiest businesses to set up. However proper research, hard work and persistence are required to be successful. If you are new to Affiliate Marketing or if you are Broke!!! Here are a few tips for increasing your chances of Affiliate Marketing Success

1. Do your proper research in identifying which products or services you are going to promote. Pick a market that suits you, products that you will be comfortable selling, products or services that you enjoy and are knowledgeable about. It is proven that if you have a passion for something then you will be more likely to put more effort and time into it.

2. Decide how you are going to promote these products and how you are going to drive traffic to your website, whether via article marketing, social networking, you tube broadcasting, blogging, email marketing, Adwords etc. A word of advice is to try and diversify your marketing methods as there are some persons who like watching videos and there will be some who prefer to read articles. Hence by diversifying your marketing methods you are allowing yourself to reach a wider audience.

3. Ensure that the company whose products or services you are promoting is trustworthy and will be around for a long time. This will be a major factor in the sustainability of your business. Imagine if you started promoting some products for a particular company and the company goes under. You invested a lot of time, you wrote articles, you paid for ads, you did extensive research and you created an excellent website with great content around this particular product and then all of a sudden the company is closed down. This would be a lot of wasted time and effort on your part.

4. Read the agreement carefully to be clear about issues such as payment frequency, minimum payout amount, payment currency, commission rates etc.

5. To avoid payment issues, try joining affiliate programs that are a part of bigger affiliate networks such as ClickBank or Commission Junction that hosts thousands of merchant affiliate programs and oversee commission payouts.
Good luck on your transition from New to Super!!
